Dualtron Thunder 3 kommer utrustat med massiva 160mm hydrauliska bromsar med 4 kolvar & integrerad klyning för både fram- och bakhjul. Detta resulterar i en oöverträfflig bromsförmåga och pålitlighet under bromsning. Dualtron Thunder 3 kommer också utrustat med elektriska bromsar vilket, förutom att det ökar bromsförmågan, ökar säkerheten vid extrema situationer då de mekaniska bromsarna låser sig för tidigt.
