For increased security you can easily use the App in conjunction with your bluetooth enabled smartphone to bind the ownership of the electric scooter to you and you only (requires a registered account - Is created through the app). As the owner of the electric scooter you have the sole right to authorise other users to your electric scooter which leads to an increased security & access control that is difficult to match in the current electric scooter market.
